In the 2020 Cup of Excellence, one of his farms, Braga Farm, came in 8th place, and he says he felt grateful to his family and very proud to be one of the COE winners. The fact that many doors have been opened in his family's life through such competitions has been a great motivation for him, and he has achieved the feat of winning the same honor again this year at the 2023 COE.

The WET category, which includes washed and pulped natural, received a high score of 88.88 points.

This title is awarded to the best coffee produced in each producing country that year after a highly rigorous judging process.

Only a handful of coffees are awarded the prestigious Cup of Excellence title.
